Ja, versprochen hab ich ne Menge, aber es ist auch recht viel in der Mache. Von meinem Urlaub gibt es doch sehr sehr viele Bilder (glaub mehr als 1500) und die will ich dann doch erstmal Sortieren und durchschauen, dann gibts sie auch online und nen kleinenn Bericht dazu.
Damit das warten jetzt nicht zu lange und langweilig wird, gibts als "Zwischenbericht" das letzte Wochenende, July 4th, independence day!
Ich denke wir haben den Feiertag so ganz klassisch deutsch-amerikanisch verbracht, d.h.:
1. Grillen mit Freunden (normal wohl auch mit Familie, aber das ist fuer mich hier grade etwas schwerer)
2. Einen trinken gehen (die deutsche Seite) waehrend des Wartens aufs Feuerwerk in San Francisco.
3. Feuerwerk gucken in San Francisco. War doch schon recht beeindruckend, sehr gute 20 Minuten lang, hauptsaechlich in rot, blau und weiss und mit Smilys zwischendurch.
Vorher gab es im Hard Rock Cafe soger die National Hymne und auf der Strasse waren auch ueberall Konzerte und es war gerammelt voll.
Am Sonntag hab ich dann ehr wieder entspannt, viel gelesen und war zwischendurch mit Andi und seinem Besuch zum Kartfahren! War echt lustig (etwas teuer) und ich hab es immerhain auf Platz 3 geschafft von 5. ;-)

Yes, I promised new posts and pictures but at least I am on it. From my vacation there are nevertheless so many pictures (I believe more than 1500) and those I want to sort an check beforehand until I will put them online with some posts and explanations. But you don't have to wait that long time, I give you some other adventuresfrom this last weekend, July 4th, independence day!
I think we have spent the holiday completely classically German-American, i.e.:
1. BBQ with friends (normally probably with family, but that is more difficult for me here)
2. To drink some beer (the German side) during waiting for the fireworks in San Francisco.
3. Looking the fireworks in San Francisco. Was quite impressing and at least 20 minutes long, colored mainly in red, blue and white and with smilys occasionally.
Before we even heard national anthem in the Hard Rock Cafe and there were so many people at the wharf and on the street with concerts in between so it was very crowded as you can imagine. On Sunday I relaxed once more. I read much and was occasionally with Andi and his visitors driving karts! Was very funny (somewhat expensively) and I have made it to be # 3 in the end out of 5. ; -)
